Uganda’s president signs controversial new anti-gay law
BBC News: Uganda’s President Museveni has signed into law a controversial anti-gay bill that toughens punishments for homosexuality in the African country.
Homosexuality is already illegal in Uganda but the new law means those convicted would face years in prison, the law also makes it a crime not to report gay people.
